Device Insertion Instructions:

• Remove the default DIP48 socket adapter (CX001) from the top of programmer and insert the Clamshell socket adapter on the SP5000 series programmer.
• Open the clamshell socket by pressing the latch.
• Use a Vacuum pick tool (recommended) to place the chip in the socket by following the pin 1 position (as mentioned in adapter information box in software).
• After the chip is firmly placed in socket, close the clamshell socket and begin programming.
• When you finish programming, gently remove the chip (using Vacuum pick tool) from the socket after opening the clamshell.
• Close the clamshell socket by pressing the latch again.
